Schiffert Health Center Radiology provides routine diagnostic digital X-ray services to students. A written request from a licensed U.S. healthcare practitioner is required. Only students who have paid the student health fee are eligible for radiologic services at Schiffert Health Center. Decisions on isolation and quarantining after a positive test will be determined by health professionals with the Virginia Department of Health and Schiffert Health Center.

Medical records are retained for a period of six years following graduation or last treatment at Schiffert Health Center. You may obtain a copy of your medical record if you wish. Schiffert Health Center practices under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and its privacy rules. This means that the health center cannot convey information about a student to a parent or family member unless the student has signed a Medical Information Release form. This release form must be signed per visit and per diagnosis.
